Minter, Assistant County Manager /Finance Director <br />REQUEST Approval of Budget Amendment #02/20/12/09 <br />SUMMARY Budget Amendment #02/20/12/09 appropriates funds for <br />the following departments: <br />Health - Child Health — Grant agreement addendum with <br />the Division of Public Health for $150,000 for the School <br />Nurse Funding (SNFI) Initiative. The fund will be passed <br />through to the Lee County Schools. <br />Sheriff — The Sheriff's Department has received $2,596 <br />more than budgeted through the Local Law Enforcement <br />Jag Grant. Funds will be used to purchase additional <br />shotguns. <br />Other Expenses — Funds are being transferred to cover <br />overages in unemployment, workers' compensation <br />insurance, vehicle insurance and property and liability <br />insurance. <br />Note: Supporting documents are available in the <br />Clerk's office for review. <br />BUDGET IMPACT See above <br />ATTACHMENT(S) Budget Amendment #02/20/12/09 <br />RECOMMENDATION Approve Budget Amendment #02/20/12/09 as presented <br />
