Wicker, which motion was unanimously adopted upon a vote. <br />The Board approved Change Order No. 1 to Project HUD B-81-DN- <br />37-0076, which is the water line on the Post Office Road near Colon, which had . <br />the effect of increasing the contract price by $8,413.20 to add 1230 feet of 8-inch <br />water line, upon motion of Commissioner Jerry M. Almond, seconded by Comm- <br />issioner Gordon A. Wicker, which motion was unanimously adopted upon a vote. <br />Mr. Elwin Buchanan, Grants Administrator, appeared before the <br />Board and discussed the water and sewer problems in Glenwood Village. Mr. <br />Buchanan was instructed to advise the interested parties to submit a petition under <br />the County's policy for extension of water lines. <br />Mr. Elwin Buchanan also' discussed with the Board the inquiries <br />received from J. T. Davenport & Sons, concerning their Industrial Park. <br />Mr. Elwin Buchanan then reviewed his monthly report on the <br />projects being administered by his office. <br />The Board recessed the meeting for lunch at twelve o'clock noon, <br />to reconvene at 1:15 o'clock p. m. The Board re-convened at 1:15 o'clock,p, m., <br />with the same members present. <br />Mr. Nathan Crissman, County Tax Collector, appeared before the <br />Board and was given authority to proceed with in rem procedures for unpaid taxes <br />for the year 1982, upon motion of Commissioner John- R. Dossenbach, Jr. , seconded <br />by Commissioner Jerry M. Almond, which motion was unanimously adopted upon a <br />vote. <br />Mr. W. B. Hartman, Jr., County Manager, presented a request <br />for the purchase of two air-conditioning units at the Group Home . Commissioner <br />Gordon A. Wicker moved that the County purchase the units by off-setting the purchase <br />price against rent charges. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond seconded the motion <br />and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. W. B. Hartman, Jr., County. Manager, brought to the Board's <br />attention, correspondence from Mr. Mooneyham, concerning the Regional Private Industr, <br />Council. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved that the officers of the Board be <br />authorized to make the necessary appointments. and to sign an agreement for and on <br />behalf of the County to participate in the Regional Private Industry Council, which <br />motion was 'seconded by Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , and upon a vote it <br />was unanimously adopted. <br />The Chairman stated that the Board had adopted a resolution <br />approving the issuance of the bonds, by the Authority to finance an industrial project <br />
