.coy Company Picnic Rules & Regulations 1. Request for facility and all information must be turned in at least one month before the event is to occur. 2. A deposit, determined by the length of the event, will be required one month prior to the event. 3. In the case of a cancellation after the one month limit, the deposit is not refundable and the department reserves the right to schedule another event. 4. The balance due for money owed to Lee County Parks and Recreation Department will be paid in full at the beginning of the day of the event. 5. The money owed to personnel hired by the company to work the event, will be given in individual checks to the individual the day of the event. 6. Once the picnic begins, no refunds will be given. 7. The Lee County Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel any portion of or all of a picnic if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the department or the safety of the participants. 8. Only in the event of rain or other acts of God prior to the event starting will a refund be considered in part or in full. 9. A rain date may be tentatively reserved with no additional charge. However, if another company requests a picnic on your raindate, your company may opt to relinquish that date or pay a non-refundable charge equal to the amount of the original deposit in order to keep the rain date reserved. 10. The first planning meeting must be held at least 3 weeks.prior to scheduled event.
