Dossenbach, Jr., John E. <br />Dotterer, Bertha L. Matthews and Gordon A. Wicker. Commissioner Jerry <br />M. Almond was absent. Chairman John E. Dotterer declared a quorum <br />present and the meeting open for the transaction of business. <br />was transacted: <br />Chairman John E. Dotterer presided and the following business <br />The invocation was given by the Reverend Ronald Schoen, Pastor <br />of the Bible Baptist Church in Sanford, North Carolina. <br />Minutes of the regular meeting held on October 17, 1983, the <br />special meeting held on October 27, 1983, and the adjourned special meeting <br />held on November 1st, 1983, were approved upon motion of Commissioner <br />Bertha L. Matthews, seconded by Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., <br />which motion was unanimously adopted upon a vote. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., moved that the <br />County Manager be directed to prepare a budget amendment to fund the purchase <br />of the Owl's Nest water system, on the basis of a purchase price of $120, 000. 00, <br />provided that the County receives title to the Trail's End water system and all <br />necessary easements for the operation of said systems. Commissioner Bertha <br />L. Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />It was reported to the Board that a street in Hidden Valley Sub- <br />division had not been included in the County's project for naming and numbering <br />all County roads and the matter was referred to the County Planner for approp- <br />riate action. <br />
