Dossenbach, Jr. Bertha L. Matthews <br />John E. Dotterer Bertha L. Matthews <br />Bertha L. Matthews Bertha L. Matthews <br />Gordon A. Wicker John E. Dotterer <br />Chairman John E. Dotterer declared that Commissioner <br />Bertha L. Matthews had been elected Chairman of the Board of Commiss- <br />ioners by a majority vote. Commissioner John E. Dotterer then relinquished the chair <br />and thereafter Chairman Bertha L. Matthews presided over the further deliber- <br />ations of the Board. <br />Chairman Bertha L. Matthews directed that the Board proceed <br />to vote and select a Vice-Chairman. Ballots were distributed, voted, signed <br />and tabulated. The results were as follows: <br />Commissioner <br />Jerry M. Almond <br />John R. Dossenbach, Jr. <br />John E. Dotterer <br />Bertha L. Matthews <br />Gordon A. Wicker <br />Voted For <br />Jerry M. Almond <br />Jerry M. Almond <br />Gordon A. Wicker <br />Jerry M. Almond <br />Gordon A. Wicker <br />Chairman Bertha L. Matthews ruled that Commissioner Jerry <br />M. Almond had been elected Vice-Chairman by a majority vote. <br />Chairman Bertha L. Matthews asked the Board's pleasure with <br />respect to the position of County Manager. Commissioner John E. Dotterer <br />moved that Walter B. Hartman, Jr., be re-appointed County Manager for Lee <br />County. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. seconded the motion and upon <br />a vote, Commissioners Almond, Dossenbach, Dotterer, and Matthews voted for <br />the appointment and Commissioner Wicker voted against it. Chairman Bertha L. <br />Matthews ruled that Walter B. Hartman, Jr. , had been reappointed County <br />Manager for Lee County. <br />Chairman Bertha L. Matthews then asked the Board's pleasure <br />with respect to the positions of Clerk to the Board and County Attorney. Comm- <br />issioner John E. Dotterer moved that Kenneth R. Hoyle be reappointed as Clerk <br />to the Board and County Attorney. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond seconded the <br />motion and upon a vote, Commissioners Almond, Dossenbach, Dotterer, Wicker <br />and Matthews voted for the appointments and no one voted against them. Chairman <br />Bertha L. Matthews ruled that Kenneth R. Hoyle had been reappointed as Clerk to <br />the Board and County Attorney. <br />
