BOOK 11 PACE 331 <br />e The final plat submitted was the abbreviated final plat of the <br />Frank Sineath Subdivision, in East Sanford Township. Commissioner John <br />E. Dotterer moved that the plat be approved. Commissioner Gordon A. <br />Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />Chairperson Bertha L. Matthews announced the assignments <br />of duties and appointments which were as follows: <br />Commissioner Jerry M. Almond: Airport Commiss- <br />ioner; Industrial Development Board of Directors; <br />Recreation Department. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr.: Ambulance <br />Advisory Commission; Triangle J Council of Govern- <br />ment; Community . Development Council; Down- <br />town Business Association. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker: Roads Commiss- <br />ioner; Fire Commissioner; Local Waste Management; <br />District Health Board. <br />Commissioner John E. Dotterer: Department of Aging; <br />Industrial Development Board of Directors; Lee-Harnett <br />O Mental Health. <br />Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews: Personnel; Social <br />Services Board; Youth Commission; Triangle J Council <br />of Governments (alternate). <br />Community Action Board of Directors: Gordon A. Wicker <br />(Alice Hairston); John E. Dotterer (T. W. McDonald); <br />Jerry M. Almond (Self-can appoint Dossenbach or Wicker <br />to represent him). <br />Mr. Donn R. Gunderson appeared before the Board in <br />connection with the revised agreement in the administration of the Emergency <br />Food Program. The program and the food distributions that had been made in <br />Lee County were discussed, following which the Board authorized Mr. Gunder- <br />son to execute the revised agreement between his agency and the North Carolina <br />Department of Agriculture. <br />The Board next discussed a budget amendment entitled <br />"Appropriation Adj. #83121911", a copy of which is attached to these minutes <br />and by this reference made a part hereof. This amendment was discussed <br />and explained by the County Manager, following which Commissioner John E. <br />• Dotterer moved that the Budget Amendment be approved. Commissioner Jerry <br />M. Almond seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />
