0
L.
BOOK PACE
33=
A revised draft of the Ambulance Service Procedure Policy
dated November 28, 1983, was presented to the Board for its consideration. The
Board reviewed the draft and made changes. As amended by the Board, Comm-
issioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., moved that the draft be adopted as the Ambu-
lance Service Procedure's policy for Lee County and that the County Manager
should disseminate the amended draft to the parties concerned. Commissioner
John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted.
Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker re-joined the meeting at this
point and participated in the further deliberations of the Board.
Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., stated that half of
the fiscal year had expired but there had been no relocation of the Mary
Margaret McLeod Home and he wants them to find another location.
The Board next took up the matter of the purchase of the Owl's
Nest Water System. The Board reviewed the contract and the fact that the
closing had been delayed, and if it had not been for the delay, that the injuries
would have occurred after the County acquired title. The Board then, upon
motion of Commissioner Jerry M. Almond, authorized the County Manager to
complete the purchase of the Owl's Nest System with the reduction of $2, 500. 00
from the $120, 000. 00 purchase price for damages as agreed to by the sellers.
Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote it was
adopted by a majority vote, wherein Commissioners Jerry M. Almond, John
R. Dossenbach, Jr., John E. Dotterer and Bertha L. Matthews voted for it and
Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker voted against it.
There being no further business to come before thesession, it
was adjourned sine die.
CHAIRMAN
C
