ooK 11 r~, E 376 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA Monday, March 5th, 1984 The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 9:30 o'clock a. m., on Monday, March 5th, 1984, in the Commissioners Room on the second floor of the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina. Those present were Commissioners Jerry M. Almond, John R. Dossenbach, Jr., Bertha L. Matthews and Gordon A. Wicker. Commissioner John E. Dotterer was absent when the meeting opened but joined the meeting shortly thereafter. Chairman Bertha L. Matthews declared a quorum present and the meeting open for the transaction of business. Chairman Bertha L. Matthews presided and the following business was transacted: The invocation was given by Mr. Walter B. Hartman, Jr. , the County Manager. The minutes of the regular meeting held on February 20, 1984, were approved and ordered recorded, upon motion of Commissioner Jerry M. Almond, which motion was seconded by Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., and unanimously adopted upon a vote. Commissioner John E. Dotterer joined the meeting and participated in the further deliberations of the Board. The minutes of the special meeting held on Thursday, March 1st, 1984, were approved and ordered recorded, upon motion of Commissioner Jerry M. Almond, which motion was seconded by Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., and unanimously adopted upon a vote. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker advised the Board that he had had a request from the residents of Parkwood Drive that inquiry be made of the Highway Division of the Department of Transportation to find out when the unpaved portion of Parkwood Drive would be paved.
