<br />of Diesel Engines. - Where a municipality
<br />decided to abandon the generation of electricity
<br />by the use of diesel engines and substitute
<br />therefor electricity purchased wholesale for dis.
<br />tribution through its electric plant, and in pur-
<br />suance of such change of policy advertised a
<br />sale of diesel engines, there was no sale by such
<br />municipality of its electric plant requiring
<br />approval of a majority of the qualified voters.

<br />§ 160A-322. Contracts for electric power and water.
<br />A city is authorized to enter into contracts for a period not exceeding 40 years
<br />for the supply of water, and for a period not exceeding 30 years for the supply
