VII. MANAGERS' REPORTS <br />A. County Managers' Monthly Report for July 2019. <br />County Manager John Crumpton presented his monthly report for July 2019. No action <br />was taken. Commissioner Reives requested options for families that are in need of a place for <br />elderly family members to live on their own property. He was specifically requesting review of <br />the rules regarding septic requirements. <br />VIII. COMMISSIONERS' COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Del Palazzo stated that she took part in an opioid response <br />training offered by First Health. The training was offered by grant funding. <br />IX. CLOSED SESSION <br />Commissioner Sharpe moved to go into Closed Session per N.C. General Statute § 143- <br />318(a)(3) to consult with the county attorney regarding the matter of Lee County, North Carolina <br />v. Amerisourcebergen Drug Corporation, in re: National Prescription Opiate Litigation and per <br />N.C. General Statute § 143-318.11(a)(4) to discuss matters related to the location or expansion <br />of business. Upon a vote, the results were as follows: <br />Aye: Dalrymple, Del Palazzo, Knecht, Reives, Sharpe <br />Nay: None <br />Chair Dalrymple ruled the motion had carried and the Board went into Closed Session. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Upon return from Closed Session and with no further business to come before the <br />Board, Commissioner Del Palazzo moved to adjourn the meeting.
