9ooK it wrE 44 7 Mr. Donn Gunderson, Director of Social Services, appeared before the Board and presented a budget amendment entitled "Appropriation Adjustment #84040223", which would help the County to identify additional items for reimbursement under the indirect cost plan for the Department of Social Services. After hearing Mr. Gunderson and the County Manager, Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the budget amendment referred to above, a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof, be adopted. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. The Tax Releases as reported by the Tax Supervisor for March 1984, were presented to the Board and approved, upon motion of Commissioner Jerry M. Almond, seconded by Commissioner John R. Dossen- bach, Jr., which motion was unanimously adopted by the Board. It was reported to the Board that Mr. Charles M. Reeves, III, had resigned as a member of the Lee County Library Board. The Board, by unanimous action, appointed Mr. David S. Overton, to be a member of the Lee County Library Board, to serve for the unexpired term of Mr. Reeves. Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the Board authorize discounts for the early payment of taxes effective immediately, at the following rate: 4% July 1 - July 15 3% July 16 - August 15 20/0 August 16 - August 31 Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. The Board discussed and approved improvements to be made at the County Parking lot.
