Womble, Chairman <br />Sanford-Lee County Airport Commission <br />DATE: April 12, 1984 <br />RE: Budget Amendment <br />J~ copA,T <br />x <br />za ~ i te=a <br />p~ ca¢ov <br />484041625 <br />The Airport Commission request that a separate budget account <br />be established for the purpose of-administering a project to <br />construct a Non Directional Radio Transmitting Site approxi- <br />mately five miles southwest of the airport. <br />The local funds for this project have been approved and cur- <br />rently exist under line item #1100-4530-630. A North Carolina <br />DOT Division of Aeronautics grant has been requested to be <br />utilized as matching funds. Liason with NCDOT indicates ap- <br />proval of matching funds is a certainty. <br />This account should be entitled "Installation of NDB" and <br />should be established in the amount of $20,000. The amount of <br />$10,000 should be transferred from line item #1100-4530-630 and <br />the matching funds will be received from NCDOT shortly after <br />establishment of the account,. <br />The project will involve approximate costs in the following <br />amounts: <br />Survey <br />Attorney Fees <br />Land Acquisition <br />Transmitting Equipment <br />Installation <br />Site Preparation <br />• <br />$500 <br />250 <br />5,000 <br />9,000 <br />1,500 <br />3,750 <br />Total 20,000 <br />Construction details and management and record keeping will be <br />accomplished by the Airport Commission via its Construction <br />Committee and the Airport Manager. <br />Should you need additional information concerning the above, <br />please advise. <br />14.
