Those present were Commissioners Jerry ^.M. Almond, John R. Dossenbach, Jr., John E. Dotterer, and Bertha L. Matthews. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker was absent when the meeting opened. The Chairman declared a quorum present and the meeting open for the transaction of business. was transacted: Chairman Bertha L. Matthews presided and the following business The invocation was given by Chairman Bertha L. Matthews. The Board next considered the drafts of the minutes of the meetings held on Thursday, March 22, 1984; Monday, March 26, 1984; and Monday, April 2, 1984. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , moved that the drafts submitted be adopted as the official minutes for the meetings and be recorded. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker joined the meeting and participated in the further deliberations of the Board. Mr. W. M. Womble, Chairman of the Sanford-Lee County Airport Commission appeared before the Board and requested approval by the Board for the purchase of a site for the installation of a Non Directional Radio Transmitter and the establishment of a separate budget account for the project as set out in Appropriation Adjustment No. 84 04 16 25, a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved that the purchase of the site be approved and the budget amendment be adopted. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., seconded the motion and upon a vote, it was unanimously adopted. Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, appeared before the Board and presented the following subdivision maps:
