0 <br />?0 11 r = 502 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to <br />approve the Project in principle and the issuance of revenue bonds to finance the <br />Project; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of the County of Lee as follows: <br />(1) The Project is hereby approved in principle. <br />(2) The issuance of revenue bonds by the Authority to <br />finance the Project is hereby approved. <br />(3) The Clerk of the Board of Commissioners is hereby <br />authorized and directed to provide a certified copy of <br />this resolution to the Department of Commerce. <br />(4) This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage. <br />Commissioner Dossenbach moved the passage of the foregoing <br />resolution and Commissioner Almond seconded the motion, and the resoltuion was <br />passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Jerry M. Almond; John R. Dossenbach, Jr., <br />Bertha L. Matthews; and Gordon A. Wicker. <br />Nays: None. <br />Abstain: John E. Dotterer. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, appeared before the <br />Board and presented several plats for the Board's consideration. First he <br />presented a preliminary sketch plan and two abbreviated final plats of the <br />Gunter Lakes Estates Property which belongs to Mr. John Gunter and is located <br />in Greenwood Township. The Planning Board recommended that the two abbreviated <br />final plats for thirteen lots on both sides of Nicholson Road and the preliminary <br />sketch plan be approved. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , moved that <br />the Planning Board's recommendations be accepted and the maps and sketch <br />be approved. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />it was unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Barefoot then presented the abbreviated final plat of the <br />Broadway Village Subdivision which is located on a tract owned by Mr. Gilbert <br />Lett and is in Cape Fear Township and is partly in and adjacent to the Town of <br />Broadway. The Planning Board had recommended approval. Commissioner <br />Gordon A. Wicker moved that the plat be approved. Commissioner Jerry M. <br />Almond seconded the motion and upon a vote, it was unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Elwin Buchanan, Grants Director, appeared before the <br />Board and advised the Board that the Federal Aviation Administration had offered <br />an additional $7, 301 on Project AIP 3-37-0065-02 at the Sanford-Lee County <br />Airport. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , moved the adoption of the <br />following resolution: <br />
