t <br />M <br />q~~K 11 ~s~ The Chairman announced the motion had passed unanimously. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., moved that the Board <br />endorse and support the Lee Senior High's all sports program, and that the <br />Chairman be authorized to issue a proclamation to that effect. Commissioner <br />John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously <br />adopted. <br />The Chairman announced that the time had arrived to hold a public <br />hearing on the question of whether or not a portion of Dogwood Drive in Willetts <br />Subdivision should be closed or not. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., <br />moved that the Board proceed to hold a public hearing on the question. Commiss- <br />ioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously <br />adopted. The Chairman declared the public hearing open. The only persons who <br />appeared were the petitioners and their attorney, Mr. J. Allen Harrington, who <br />spoke in their behalf. No one appeared in opposition to the petition. After all <br />interested persons had been given an opportunity to speak, Commissioner Gordon <br />A. Wicker moved that the public hearing be closed. Commissioner John E. <br />Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote, it was unanimously adopted. The <br />Chairman asked the pleasure of the Board with respect to the petition and <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved the adoption of the resolution ordering <br />the closing of a portion of the street, a copy of which resolution is attached to <br />these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner Jerry <br />M. Almond seconded the motion and upon a vote the Commissioners voted as <br />follows: <br />AYES: Almond, Dossenbach, Dotterer, Matthews, and <br />Wicker <br />NAYS: None <br />The Chairman announced the motion passed unanimously. <br />There being no further business to come before the session, it <br />was adjourned sine die. <br />THA L.
