t M q~~K 11 ~s~ The Chairman announced the motion had passed unanimously. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., moved that the Board endorse and support the Lee Senior High's all sports program, and that the Chairman be authorized to issue a proclamation to that effect. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. The Chairman announced that the time had arrived to hold a public hearing on the question of whether or not a portion of Dogwood Drive in Willetts Subdivision should be closed or not. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., moved that the Board proceed to hold a public hearing on the question. Commiss- ioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. The Chairman declared the public hearing open. The only persons who appeared were the petitioners and their attorney, Mr. J. Allen Harrington, who spoke in their behalf. No one appeared in opposition to the petition. After all interested persons had been given an opportunity to speak, Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that the public hearing be closed. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote, it was unanimously adopted. The Chairman asked the pleasure of the Board with respect to the petition and Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved the adoption of the resolution ordering the closing of a portion of the street, a copy of which resolution is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond seconded the motion and upon a vote the Commissioners voted as follows: AYES: Almond, Dossenbach, Dotterer, Matthews, and Wicker NAYS: None The Chairman announced the motion passed unanimously.
