qov 11 F", H 581 The Board next considered a request to proclaim the week of October 1, 1984 through October 6, 1984, as "Lee County Agricultural Fair Week". Upon motion of Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker, duly seconded by Commissioner John E. Dotterer and unanimously adopted, the Chairman was authorized to issue a proclamation designating the week of October 1, 1984, through October 6, 1984, as "Lee County Agricultural Fair Week". The Board next considered the budget amendment entitled "Appropriation Adjustment #9/17/84/06", a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the budget amendment be approved and adopted. Comm- issioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., seconded the motion and upon a vote, Commissioners Almond, Dossenbach, Dotterer and Matthews voted for it and Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker voted against it. The Chairman dec- lared the motion adopted by a majority vote. The Board, at this time, recognized and presented Certificates of Recognition and Appreciation to Mr. Charles Alexander, Judge William A. Christian, Mr. James E. Clark, Ms. Sharon Cox, Mr. Vesper Cox, Mr. Stacy Grant, Mr. Howard McGinn, and Mr. Fred Wicker. Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, appeared before the Board and presented the abbreviated final plat of the Jesse Clarence Stone Sub- division, for consideration by the Board. The Planning Board had recommended approval of the Plat and upon motion of Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker, second- ed by Commissioner John E. Dotterer, the Board unanimously approved the plat. The Board next discussed use of the County owned Oldsmobile sedan, and upon motion of Commissioner Jerry M. Almond, seconded by Comm- issioner John E. Dotterer, it was unanimously resolved that the use of this automobile may be extended to the Department of Social Services, who would sign for the vehicle when it was available. Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the Board proceed to hold a public hearing on the amendment to the Cable Television Ordinance. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond seconded the motion. After all persons who desired to speak had been heard, Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the public hearing be closed. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved that the amendments to the Cable Television Ordinance be approved. Commissioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote, Comm- issioners Almond, Dotterer and Matthews voted for it and Commissioners Dossenbach and Wicker voted against it. The Chairman ruled the Ordinance had passed at its second reading and was duly adopted.
