eooK 11 ~r,c: 58 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF J THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA Monday, September 17, 1984 The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened on Monday, September 17, 1984, at 7:00 o'clock p. m. , in the Commissioners Room on the second floor of the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina. Those present were Commissioners John R. Dossenbach, Jr., John E. Dotterer, Bertha L. Matthews and Gordon A. Wicker. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond was absent when the meeting opened but joined the meeting later. Chairman Bertha L. Matthews announced that a quorum was present and the meeting open for the transaction of business. Chairman Bertha L. Matthews presided and the following business was transacted: The invocation was given by the County Manager, Walter B. Hartman, Jr. The draft of the minutes of the regular meeting held on September 4, 1984, were reviewed and considered. Commissioner John E. Dotterer moved that the draft be adopted as the official minutes of the meeting and that same be recorded. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond joined the meeting and participated in the further deliberations of the Board. A petition requesting the addition of Dinkens Road and Baker Road in the Whispering Pines Subdivision, to the State Maintained Secondary Road System, was presented to the Board. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that the petition be approved and that the resolution attached hereto be adopted . Comm- issioner John E. Dotterer seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted.
