MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />Tuesday, January 22, 1985- <br />The <br />regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for <br />the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, having been <br />postponed from Monday, January 21st at 7:00 p.m. due to <br />adverse weather conditions, convened on Tuesday, January 22, <br />1985, at 4:00 p.m. in the Commissioner's Room on the second <br />floor of the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, <br />Sanford, North Carolina. Those present were Commissioners <br />Raymond C. Cox, Jr., John R. Dossenbach, Jr., Bertha L. <br />Matthews, and John E. Dotterer. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond <br />was absent when the meeting opened. Chairman John E. <br />Dotterer announced that a quorum was present and the meeting <br />open for the transaction of business. <br />Chairman John E. Dotterer presided and the following <br />business was transacted: <br />The invocation was given by County Manager, Walter B. <br />Hartman, Jr. <br />The minutes of the regular meeting held on Monday, <br />December 17, 1984, were approved as corrected and ordered <br />recorded, upon motion of Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., <br />seconded by Commissioner Bertha L.
