30~ 11 PA;, 695 RESOLUTION OF TEE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF LEE COUNTY CONCERNING THE ACCEPTANCE OF AN AMENDMENT FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR LEE COUNTY ® INDUSTRIAL PARK EXTENSION AND WALKER WILSON INDUSTRIAL PARK, PROJECT "04 -11-03186 AND AMENDED AND IDENTIFIED TO PROJECT X04-11-03186.01 WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Lee County have determined it to be to the best interest of the citizens of Lee County to provide for the design and construction of the sanitary pressure sewer line for the Lee County Industrial Park Extension; and WHEREAS, Lee County has applied to the Economic Development Corporation (EDA) for additional program grant assistance to assist with the implementation of the Lee County Industrial Park Extension pressure sewer line EDA Project #04-11-03186.01; and WHEREAS, the Economic Development Corporation (EDA) has offered a grant through the public works and economic development act of 1965, as amended (P.L. 59-135) for $38,500. matched with $35,000. from the N. C. Highway Department and $3,500. from the City of Sanford to be added to the existing grant and to cover the addi- tional construction cost of the pressure sewer line; NOW, THEREFORE IT IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Lee County to accept the grant offer of thirty-eight thousand, five hundred dollars ($38,500.) of EDA funds; and authorize the Chair- man, John Dotterer, to sign the acceptance of the ,grant.
