BUCK it PACE 69~ <br />J <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />,11 THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />V Monday,^ February '118, „1985W 1 1 1 1 f' <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the <br />County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened on Monday, February 18, <br />1985, at 7:00 o'clock p. m. , in the Commissioner's Room, on the second <br />floor of the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina. <br />Those present were Commissioners Jerry M. Almond, Raymond C. Cox, Jr., <br />John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , John E. Dotterer and Bertha L. Matthews. Comm- <br />issioner John E. Dotterer announced that a quorum was present and the meet- <br />ing open for the transaction of business. Chairman John E. Dotterer presided <br />and the following business was transacted: <br />The invocation was given by Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, <br />Jr. <br />The minutes of the regular meeting held on Monday, February <br />4, 1985, were approved and ordered recorded, upon motion of Commissioner <br />Jerry M. Almond, seconded by Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., which <br />motion was unanimously adopted upon a vote. <br />The road petition requesting that Parkwood Drive (Secondary <br />Road No. 1250) be paved, was presented to the Board and considered. Following <br />discussion of the matter, Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that the <br />petition be approved and the resolution attached to these minutes asking that said <br />road be paved, be approved. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. seconded the <br />motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />The written report of Mr. Leonard Barefoot, Lee County <br />Planner, was presented to the Board. The Board considered the preliminary <br />and final plats submitted and noted that each plat had been approved by the <br />Planning Board. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that the Board <br />approve the preliminary plat of Longbranch Subdivision, the final plat of Lee <br />County Industrial Park, the preliminary plat for Wayview Subdivision, the <br />
