ago 11 F~c. 701 <br />North Carolina Administrative Code: Patching of pavement <br />failures and resurfacing two (2) ramps at Lee County <br />Rescue Squad and Ambulance Service Building located on <br />McIver Street in Sanford, Lee County, at an estimated cost <br />of $1, 000. 00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE AND IT IS HEREBY <br />RESOLVED that the Chairman of the Lee County Board <br />of Commissioners be and he hereby is authorized and <br />empowered to enter into a contract with the Department of <br />Transportation as may be necessary to effectuate the afore- <br />said expressed purpose, thereby binding the said County <br />Board of Commissioners to the fulfillment of its obligation <br />incurred under this resolution and to its agreement to pay <br />any amounts that may become due under the agreement on <br />a cost reimbursement basis until said obligations are fully <br />paid. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., <br />duly seconded by Commissioner Jerry M. Almond and upon a vote, unanimously <br />adopted, which authorized the Chairman to execute a right of way agreement with <br />the Department of Transportation for the improvements on Nash Street in the area <br />of the old County Home. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, appeared before the <br />Board, and presented for review an abbreviated final plat of the Ernest Dalrymple <br />Subdivision, a preliminary plat for the James Johnson - Clyde Garner Subdivision <br />and a preliminary plat for the Malcolm Law Subdivision. The matters were dis- <br />cussed and reviewed, following which Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved that <br />the three maps be approved. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , seconded <br />the motion and upon a vote, it was unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Melvin Phillips, Mr. Worth Pickard, and Mr. Ben Bullock <br />of the County Planning Board, and Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, <br />appeared before the Board to present recommendations from the Planning Board <br />for changes in the Mobile Home Park Ordinance and in the Lee County Subdivision <br />Ordinance. After hearing the recommendations of the members of the Planning <br />Board and discussing the matter, the Board, upon motion of Commissioner John <br />R. Dossenbach, Jr., duly seconded by Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., <br />which motion was unanimously adopted upon a' vote, authorized that a public <br />hearing be held on amending the Mobile Home Park and Subdivision Ordinances <br />and authorized that the necessary advertisements be made: <br />
