300!i f1 re„E '735 <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />Pursuant to General Statute 153A-323 as amended, the Lee County <br />.Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing to consider amend- <br />ments to the Mobile Home and Mobile Home Park Ordinance of Lee County. <br />The public hearing will be held Monday, April 15, 1985 beginning at <br />7:15 P.M. in the Commissioners Room, County Office Building, 200 <br />Wicker Street, Sanford, North.Carolina. <br />The first proposed amendment to the Lee County Mobile Home Park <br />Ordinance would amend Article VI, Section A by deleting Section A <br />in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following: - <br />Section A...The Placement of Mobile Homes .on-Individual -Tracts- <br />Of Land. <br />Ali mobile homes to be located in Lee Councy sha I I be placed <br />in an approved or existing mobile home park as provided for in this <br />ordinance with the following exceptions: <br />1. One individual mobile home shall be permitted as a principal <br />use on any tract of land or lot which has been approved in <br />accordance with the provisions of the Lee County Subdivision <br />Ordinance or was a lot on record in the Lee County Registry <br />prior to October 16, 1978. <br />2. One mobile home shall be permitted as an accessory use on <br />an individual tract of land consisting of two acres or more <br />which meets the provisions of the Lee County Subdivision <br />Ordinance. When a mobile home is permitted as an accessory <br />use, the principal use shall not be a mobile home. <br />Mobile Homes placed in accordance with this Section shall also meet <br />the requirements of Section -B and C of this Article. - - <br />The second proposed amendment to the Lee County Mobile Home Park <br />Ordinance would amend Article VIII - Design Standards by adding a new <br />Section G to that article as follows: <br />Section C. Planned Development Mobile Home Park. <br />Planned development - mobile home parks are those parks which <br />offer paved streets, open space, playgrounds, and other amenities <br />deemed appropriate by the Planning Board. Such mobile home parks <br />shall meetaLL the requirements of the Lee County Mobile Home Park <br />Ordinance except as modified below: <br />1. Planned Development - Mobile Home Parks must have a minimum <br />initial development area of Ixn acres and be served by muni- <br />_ pa-l--water and sewer. - - <br />2. Each mobile home space shall have a minimum of 7,500 square feet. <br />
