300!i f1 re„E '735 PUBLIC HEARING Pursuant to General Statute 153A-323 as amended, the Lee County .Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing to consider amend- ments to the Mobile Home and Mobile Home Park Ordinance of Lee County. The public hearing will be held Monday, April 15, 1985 beginning at 7:15 P.M. in the Commissioners Room, County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North.Carolina. The first proposed amendment to the Lee County Mobile Home Park Ordinance would amend Article VI, Section A by deleting Section A in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following: - Section A...The Placement of Mobile Homes .on-Individual -Tracts- Of Land. Ali mobile homes to be located in Lee Councy sha I I be placed in an approved or existing mobile home park as provided for in this ordinance with the following exceptions: 1. One individual mobile home shall be permitted as a principal use on any tract of land or lot which has been approved in accordance with the provisions of the Lee County Subdivision Ordinance or was a lot on record in the Lee County Registry prior to October 16, 1978. 2. One mobile home shall be permitted as an accessory use on an individual tract of land consisting of two acres or more which meets the provisions of the Lee County Subdivision Ordinance. When a mobile home is permitted as an accessory use, the principal use shall not be a mobile home. Mobile Homes placed in accordance with this Section shall also meet the requirements of Section -B and C of this Article. - - The second proposed amendment to the Lee County Mobile Home Park Ordinance would amend Article VIII - Design Standards by adding a new Section G to that article as follows: Section C. Planned Development Mobile Home Park. Planned development - mobile home parks are those parks which offer paved streets, open space, playgrounds, and other amenities deemed appropriate by the Planning Board. Such mobile home parks shall meetaLL the requirements of the Lee County Mobile Home Park Ordinance except as modified below: 1. Planned Development - Mobile Home Parks must have a minimum initial development area of Ixn acres and be served by muni- _ pa-l--water and sewer. - - 2. Each mobile home space shall have a minimum of 7,500 square feet.
