6G:.i PAGf 74£ <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />Monday, June 3rd, 1985 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the <br />County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened on Monday, June 3rd, 1985, at 9:30 <br />o'clock a. m. , in the Commissioners Room on the second floor of the County <br />Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina. Those present <br />were Commissioners Jerry M. Almond, Raymond C. Cox, Jr., John R. Doss- <br />enbach, Jr., John E. Dotterer and Bertha L. Matthews. Chairman John E. <br />Dotterer announced that a quorum was present and the meeting open for the <br />transaction of business. Chairman John E. Dotterer presided and the following <br />business was transacted: <br />The invocation was given by County Attorney, K. R. Hoyle. <br />Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved that the draft of the <br />minutes of the regular meeting held on May 29, 1985, be approved as the official <br />minutes of said meeting and recorded. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews sec- <br />onded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />The Chairman stated that The Lee County Industrial Facilities <br />and Pollution Control Financing Authority had adopted a resolution expressing <br />its intention to issue revenue bonds and authorizing the execution and delivery of <br />an inducement agreement pertaining to the financing of an industrial project for <br />Optimol Manufacturing, Inc. The Chairman submitted copies of the resolution <br />and the inducement agreement to the Board. The Chairman then stated that a <br />notice had been published on May /S 1985 that the Board would hold a public <br />hearing on June 3, 1985 on the proposed project and the issuance of revenue bonds <br />to finance the project. <br />Commissioner Almond moved that the Board proceed to hold a <br />public hearing on the project and the issuance of revenue bonds to finance the <br />project. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Cox and was unanimously <br />adopted. <br />t. <br />
