A763 LUTION BY BOARD OF COMMISSIONED LEE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA WHEREAS, The North Carolina Clean Water Bond Act of 1977 as amended 1985 has authorized the making of grants to aid eligible units of government in financing the cost of construction of wastewater treatment works, wastewater collection systems, and water supply systems, and WHEREAS, The County of Lee has need for an intends to construct a water supply system project described as Lee County Water System Phase 1, and WHEREAS, The County of Lee intends to request State grant assistance for the project, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF LEE COUNTY: That the County of Lee will arrange financing for all remaining costs of the project, if approved, for a State grant award. That the County of Lee will adopt and place in effect on or before completion of the project a schedule of fees and charges which will provide adequate funds for proper operation, maintenance and administration of the system. That the County of Lee will provide for efficient operation and maintenance of the project on completion of construction thereof. That Dr. John Dotterer, Chairman of the Lee County Board of Com- missioners and successors so titled, is hereby authorized to execute and file an application on behalf of the County of Lee with the State of North Carolina for a grant to aid in the construction of the proj- ect described above. That the County of Lee has substantially complied or will substan= tially comply with all Federal, State and local laws, rules, regula- tions, and ordinances applicable to the project and to Federal and tate grants and loans pertaining thereto.
