yob 11 PAC. 7$$ Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews asked that a request for improvement be made to the appropriate agency of the highway crossing at Colon over the old Seaboard main line tracks. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that the Board proceed to hold a public hearing on the proposed budget for the fiscal year 1985-1986. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. , seconded the motion and upon a vote, it was unanimously adopted. At 7:15 o'clock p. m., the Chairman announced that the Board would.hear any one who wished to be heard on the proposed budget for fiscal year 1985-1986. The names of the persons who were recognized are set forth below: Mr. Robert Dalrymple, Chairman, and Superintendent William Johnson, of the Lee County Board of Education. Mrs. Reggie Durham,of the Department of Aging. Mr. William Wilson, member of the Board, and Dr. Thomas Wilson, of the Lee-Harnett Mental Health Authority. Mr. Donn Gunderson, of the Department of Social Services. Mr. John Hall, of the Agricultural Extension Service. After the Board had heard all persons who requested to be heard, Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that the public hearing be closed. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., and upon a vote, it was unanimously adopted. Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, appeared before the Board and presented for consideration the following subdivision plats. Abbreviated final plat of Charles M. Oldham, Jr., Subdivision off Buckhorn Road in Cape Fear Township. Abbreviated Final Plat of Buckhorn Road Subdivision, Section I, being a tract owned by R. B. Lemmon, Jr., on the south side of Buckhorn Road in Cape Fear Town- ship. Final Plat of the Minter Road Estates Subdivision, located at the intersection of Lemon Springs Road and Minter School Road in Greenwood Township. After review of the plats and hearing the recommendation of the Planning Board, Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that all of the plats be approved. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., and upon a vote, it was unanimously adopted.
