yob 11 PAC. 7$$ <br />Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews asked that a request for <br />improvement be made to the appropriate agency of the highway crossing at <br />Colon over the old Seaboard main line tracks. <br />Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that the Board <br />proceed to hold a public hearing on the proposed budget for the fiscal year <br />1985-1986. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. , seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote, it was unanimously adopted. <br />At 7:15 o'clock p. m., the Chairman announced that the Board <br />would.hear any one who wished to be heard on the proposed budget for fiscal <br />year 1985-1986. The names of the persons who were recognized are set forth <br />below: <br />Mr. Robert Dalrymple, Chairman, and Superintendent William <br />Johnson, of the Lee County Board of Education. <br />Mrs. Reggie Durham,of the Department of Aging. <br />Mr. William Wilson, member of the Board, and Dr. Thomas <br />Wilson, of the Lee-Harnett Mental Health Authority. <br />Mr. Donn Gunderson, of the Department of Social Services. <br />Mr. John Hall, of the Agricultural Extension Service. <br />After the Board had heard all persons who requested to be <br />heard, Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that the public hearing be <br />closed. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., <br />and upon a vote, it was unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, appeared before the <br />Board and presented for consideration the following subdivision plats. <br />Abbreviated final plat of Charles M. Oldham, Jr., <br />Subdivision off Buckhorn Road in Cape Fear Township. <br />Abbreviated Final Plat of Buckhorn Road Subdivision, <br />Section I, being a tract owned by R. B. Lemmon, Jr., <br />on the south side of Buckhorn Road in Cape Fear Town- <br />ship. <br />Final Plat of the Minter Road Estates Subdivision, located <br />at the intersection of Lemon Springs Road and Minter <br />School Road in Greenwood Township. <br />After review of the plats and hearing the recommendation of the <br />Planning Board, Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that all of the plats <br />be approved. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., <br />and upon a vote, it was unanimously adopted. <br />
