The written request of Mr. Thomas L. Johnson, Director of the District Health Department, that the $20. 00 fee for issuing a permit for septic tank repair be deleted from the Health Department fee schedule effective as of July 1, 1985, was presented to the Board. After discussion and review, Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. , moved that the District Health fee schedule be revised effective as of July 1, 1985, by deleting the fee of $20. 00 established for a permit for septic tank repair in accordance with the request of the District Health Department. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. At the request of the Department of Aging, the Board considered the following documents: (a) Contract for social and senior center services between Lee County and Triangle J Council of Governments. (b) Contract for catering home delivered meals between Lee County and Joint Orange-Chatham Community Action, Inc. (c) Contract for catering congregate meals between Lee County and Joint Orange-Chatham Community Action, Inc. (d) Contract for congregate nutrition service between Triangle J Council of Governments and Lee County. (e) Contract for home delivered nutrition service between Triangle J Council of Governments and Lee County. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved that the contracts for fiscal year 1986 be approved and the appropriate county officials be authorized and directed to execute and deliver same for and on behalf of the County. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr, moved that permission be granted, in accordance with the requirements of the Lee County Personnel Policy, for the continued employment with Lee County of Mr. Robert Southard and Mr. Elwin Buchanan, despite the fact they have reached the age for retire- ment. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted.
