Johnson, Director of <br />the District Health Department, that the $20. 00 fee for issuing a permit for <br />septic tank repair be deleted from the Health Department fee schedule effective <br />as of July 1, 1985, was presented to the Board. After discussion and review, <br />Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. , moved that the District Health fee schedule <br />be revised effective as of July 1, 1985, by deleting the fee of $20. 00 established <br />for a permit for septic tank repair in accordance with the request of the District <br />Health Department. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />At the request of the Department of Aging, the Board considered <br />the following documents: <br />(a) Contract for social and senior center services between <br />Lee County and Triangle J Council of Governments. <br />(b) Contract for catering home delivered meals between Lee <br />County and Joint Orange-Chatham Community Action, Inc. <br />(c) Contract for catering congregate meals between Lee County <br />and Joint Orange-Chatham Community Action, Inc. <br />(d) Contract for congregate nutrition service between Triangle <br />J Council of Governments and Lee County. <br />(e) Contract for home delivered nutrition service between <br />Triangle J Council of Governments and Lee County. <br />Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved that the contracts for fiscal <br />year 1986 be approved and the appropriate county officials be authorized and <br />directed to execute and deliver same for and on behalf of the County. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr, moved that permission <br />be granted, in accordance with the requirements of the Lee County Personnel <br />Policy, for the continued employment with Lee County of Mr. Robert Southard <br />and Mr. Elwin Buchanan, despite the fact they have reached the age for retire- <br />ment. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond seconded the motion and upon a vote it was <br />unanimously adopted. <br />
