4" it rat.: 82q <br />( All members in good standing in each depar should have <br />suitable identification and the Fire Chief will see that no other persons <br />display this identification. <br />i <br />(k) It is recommended that suitable communications be provided <br />• for the notification of the firemen. <br />(1) The Fire Department shall, by mutual aoreement, decide on <br />the area in which they will give basic fire protection, and within which <br />they will solicit funds. Any differences of opinion will be appealed to <br />the Fire Commissioner. <br />(m) Each department will be expected to respond to the call of <br />mutual aid when and where needed. <br />(n) Each Fire Chief, or his representative, will make full <br />investigation of each fire to determine the possible cause. If any evidence <br />of arson is suspected, the Fire Chief will notify the appropriate authorities. <br />(o) All carelessly set or untended fire s will be handled at the <br />discretion of the local fire chief. <br />(p) Each department will have the minimum equipment as GRADE A <br />COMMUNITIES, and this equipment will be kept in good condition and operative <br />at all times, barring accidents or acts of God. Each fire department will <br />follow the 1901NFPA Code. <br />Section 6. Under Section Three, Emergency Management, it shall be <br />left to the discretion of any incorporate town or city as to whether they <br />desire to qualify under the Emergency Management Phase of this resolution. <br />Section 7. An authorized representative of the department shall <br />sign a copy of this resolution when qualifying under its terms. <br />Section 8. When fire departments qualify under the terms of this <br />resolution each fire district will be designated as a Fire District on the <br />minutes of the Board of Commissioners establishing said district. <br />Adopted this 5th day of August, 1985. <br />• <br />Jon E. ottere r, airman <br />ATTEST: <br />R.
