BU:i~S PhGf <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF'LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />rm~ r r f m r~ T n m m n T-.,,-F:n <br />Monday, August 51 1985 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners <br />for the County of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 9:30 o'clock <br />a. m., in the Commissioners' Room on the second floor of the County <br />Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina. Those <br />present were Commissioners Jerry M. Almond, Raymond C. Cox, Jr., <br />John R. Dossenbach, Jr., and Bertha L. Matthews. Commissioner <br />John E. Dotterer was absent. Vice Chairman John R. Dossenbach, Jr. <br />presided and the following business was transacted: <br />The invocation was given by Walter B. Hartman, Jr. , <br />the County Manager. <br />The draft of the minutes of the regular meeting held <br />on July 22, 1985, were considered and upon motion of Commissioner <br />Jerry M. Almond, seconded by Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. , <br />the Board unanimously adopted them as the official minutes of said meet- <br />ing and ordered them recorded. <br />Mr. Elwin Buchanan, Grants Administrator, appeared <br />before the Board and reviewed the projects being supervised by his office. <br />Mr. Buchanan then presented for consideration, Amendment, No. 1 to <br />Grant Agreement for Project #3-37-0065-03. The matter was discussed <br />following which Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved that the Amendment <br />be accepted and approved and authorize the execution thereof by the <br />appropriate County officials, and the delivery of same. Commissioner <br />Raymond C. Cox, Jr. , seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unani- <br />mously adopted. Mr. Buchanan then presented for the Board's consid- <br />eration, Amendment No. 1 to Grant Agreement for Project # 3-37-0065-04. <br />The matter was discussed, following which Commissioner Jerry M. <br />Almond moved that the Amendment to the Grant Agreement be accepted <br />
