saox fi ~asE 859 <br />The Board gave its consent to request that the Lee-Johnston Community <br />Action Program be asked to participate in the County's Transportation Plan. <br />Mr. Leonard Barefoot, Lee County Planner, appeared before the Board <br />and presented the following plats for consideration: <br />1) The abbreviated final plat for the Trace Farm Subdivision; <br />2) The final plat of the Sugar Neck Hollow Subdivision; and <br />3) Final Plat of the Woodmere II Subdivision. <br />Mr. Barefoot reviewed each map separately and presented the recomm- <br />endation of the Planning Board. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved that the <br />Trace Farm Subdivision final plat be approved. Commissioner John R. Dossen- <br />bach, Jr. seconded the, motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr, moved that the Sugar Neck Hollow Sub- <br />division final plat be approved with the stipulations as recommended by the <br />Planning Board. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr, seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. <br />moved that the Final Plat of the Woodmere II Subdivision be approved. Comm- <br />issioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unani- <br />mously adopted. <br />The purchase agreement between the Library and Dynix , Inc., was <br />presented to the Board and discussed by the County Manager. The Board approved <br />the agreement, upon motion of Commissioner Jerry M. Almond, seconded by <br />Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., which motion was unanimously adopted <br />upon a vote. <br />Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., moved and Commissioner Jerry <br />M. Almond seconded, that the County accept the offer of Mr. James Johnson, <br />to donate a Radiant Picture Master Movie Screen to the Lee County Sheriff's <br />Department. Upon a vote, the motion was unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Cyrus Womack appeared before the Board and discussed the difficulty <br />he was having in obtaining approval of a portion of his land in Cape Fear Town- <br />ship. Mr. Womack was requested to discuss the matter further with the County <br />Attorney. <br />Mr. Elwin Buchanan, Grants Director, appeared before the Board and <br />presented the bids he had received from the local engineering firms for design <br />of the water line on the Riddle Road area. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, <br />Jr, moved that the low bid submitted by Bracken & Associates in the amount of <br />$3, 750. 00, be accepted for engineering and design of the water line. Commiss- <br />ioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr, seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unani- <br />mously adopted. <br />
