Those present were
Commissioners Jerry M. Almond, Raymond C. Cox, Jr., John R. Dossenbach,
Jr. , John E. Dotterer and Bertha L. Matthews. The Chairman declared a
quorum was present and the meeting open for the transaction of business.
Chairman John E. Dotterer presided and the following business
was transacted:
The invocation was given by County Attorney, K. R. Hoyle.
The draft of the minutes of the regular meeting held on Monday,
September 16, 1985, was considered and upon motion of Commissioner Jerry M.
Almond, seconded by Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews, the Board unanimous-
ly adopted them as the official minutes of said meeting and ordered them record-
ed.
The Board next considered several offers with respect to real
estate. They did not act upon any of the offers.
The Board considered the offer to purchase the dwelling house
next to the Maintenance Building on Elm Street for the sum of $1, 200. 00. Since
the County had conducted two auctions already, Commissioner Bertha L.
Matthews moved that the offer be accepted. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond
seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted.
