Under no circumstances shall a high volume pump be connected <br />directly to a fire hydrant and/or waterline. <br />VIII. <br />IX. <br />X. <br />R. Under no circumstances will county water be commingled with <br />other water sources. A plumbing permit is to be obtained from <br />the Lee County Inspection Department. The Plumbing Inspector <br />will insure that plumbing is arranged in such a way that water <br />is not commingled. <br />ACCESS TO PREMISES <br />Duly authorized agents of the County shall have access at all <br />reasonable hours to the premises of the consumer for the purpose <br />of installing or removing County property, inspecting piping, <br />reading or testing meters or for any other purpose in connection <br />with the County's services and facilities. <br />CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY <br />A. Not less than three working days notice must be given in <br />person or in writing, at the County's office, to discontinue <br />water service for a change in address. <br />B. The outgoing party shall be responsible for all water consumed <br />up to the time of departure or the time specified for <br />departure, whichever period is longest. <br />METER READING - BILLING - COLLECTING <br />A. Meters will be read and bills rendered as follows: <br />Meters read and bills rendered monthly; but the County <br />reserves the right to vary the dates or length of period <br />covered, temporarily or permanently if necessary or desirable. <br />B. Bills for water will be figured in accordance with the <br />County's published rate schedule then in effect and will be <br />based on the amount consumed for the period covered by the <br />meter readings. <br />C. Charge for service commences when meter is installed and <br />connection made, whether used or not. <br />D. Readings from different meters will not be combined for <br />billing, irrespective of the fact that said meters may be for <br />the same or different premises, or for the same or different <br />consumers, or for the same or different services. <br />E. Bills are due when rendered and become delinquent on the <br />following 15th day of the month. Payment must be physically <br />received by the county on or prior to this day in order to <br />avoid a penalty of ten per cent (108). If not paid by the 28th <br />day of the same month, services will be discontinued by the <br />County unless a waiver is obtained from the County Manager. <br />
