9abK 11 PA'.' 691 <br />The Board next considered Budget Amendment No. 11/18/85/06. <br />The County Manager reviewed, and explained the purposes of the amendment, <br />following which Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved that Budget Amend- <br />ment No, 11/18/85/06, be approved and adopted. Commissioner Raymond C. <br />Cox, Jr., seconded the motion and upon a vote, Commissioners Almond, <br />Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews and Dotterer voted for it and no one voted against <br />it. <br />The County Manager submitted to the Board for its consideration, a <br />Budget Amendment adopted by the Lee County Board of Education. The matter <br />was discussed and reviewed, following-which Commissioner Jerry M. Almond <br />moved that the changes in the Lee County School Budget be approved as set out <br />in the Budget Amendment adopted by the Board of Education on November 11, <br />1985. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />it was unanimously adopted. <br />The Board next considered Budget Amendment No, 11/18/85/08, which <br />transferred money from the Capital Reserve Fund to the School Budget for the <br />purpose of school buses. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved that Budget <br />Amendment No. 11 /18/85/08 be approved and adopted. Commissioner Raymond <br />C. Cox, Jr, seconded the motion and upon a vote, Commissioners Almond, Cox, <br />Dossenbach, Matthews and Dotterer voted for it and no one voted against it. <br />The Board next considered the vacancy in the Recreation Commission <br />created by the resignation of Mr. Robert Reives. Commissioner John R. <br />Dossenbach, Jr. moved that Mrs. Barbara W. Breeden be appointed to fill <br />the vacancy on the Recreation Commission. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews <br />seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved that the Board go into <br />Executive Session to discuss property matters with the Lee County Board of <br />Education. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. seconded the motion and upon <br />a vote it was unanimously adopted. Following the Executive Session, at which <br />no official action was taken, Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved that the <br />Executive Session be.closed and the Board resume its open meeting. Comm- <br />issioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr, seconded the motion and upon a vote it was <br />unanimously adopted. <br />The Board discussed the matter of Christmas Baskets or the type of <br />gift to be given to County Employees at Christmas. After a lengthy discussion, <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved that the County make gift checks <br />in the amount of $15. 00, which were redeemable at any grocery store in Lee <br />County as the Christmas Gift to the County Employees. Commissioner <br />Raymond C. Cox, Jr, seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously <br />adopted. <br />
