Hartman, Jr., the County Manager, reviewed the
current status of the County with respect to the lob Training Partnership Act
Program and advised the Board that it would have to make a decision as to
whether to get in a service delivery area or to remain in the balance of the
State program but if so, the State would take over the planning for those
counties that remain in the balance of the State category.
The Board noted with sadness the passing of Mrs. E. B. Keith, Sr. ,
who formerly served as Register of Deeds.
The Board discussed the need for work in cleaning up the right of ways
for the public highways and it was requested that this work be included in those
made available through the Courts for Community Services.
There being no further business to come before the session, it was
adjourned sine die.
CHAIRMAN
