® Bum 11 rw~ 90~® <br />Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., moved that the Center for <br />Independent Living, be authorized to buy gas from the County gas pumps. <br />Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote <br />it was unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. reported that the Ambulance <br />Advisory Committee had met recently and would meet again in considering <br />and revising its operating policy. Commissioner Dossenbach expressed the <br />opinion that the present policy allows a patient to be picked up and carried <br />from the patient's home to his doctor's office in an emergency when the <br />doctor requested such service. <br />The Board next reviewed the reports presented by the various agencies <br />and the correspondence included with their agenda for this meeting. <br />Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews had received a petition concerning <br />the conditions at Stewart Manor and this was noted for these minutes and the <br />petition will be forwarded to the City of Sanford who has authority over this <br />housing development. <br />Commissioner Jerry M. Almond brought up for discussion, the parking <br />situation at Temple Park. <br />There being no further business to come before the session, it was <br />adjourned, sine die. <br />U CHAIRMAN <br />CLE <br />
