This action was taken upon motion of
Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., seconded by Commissioner Bertha L.
Matthews, which motion was unanimously adopted upon a vote.
The Board discussed a request concerning use of dogs for deer
hunting but no formal action was taken. During the discussion, a suggestion was
made to outlaw the possession of spot lights to curb illegal hunting activities.
It was reported to the Board that the residents in the Wicker
Apartments off of N. C. Highway 87 desire some kind of security for that
housing project. The Board reviewed the reports submitted by various County
agencies but no formal action was taken.
There being no further business to come before the session, it
was adjourned sine die.
CHAIRMAN
2Jt:~ua~-'
CLERK
