Comm- <br />issioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. seconded the motion and upon a vote it was <br />unanimously adopted. <br />Mr. Barefoot then presented for consideration, the final plat of the <br />South Forks Subdivision, Section I, which is a 60 acres tract off of the Harvey <br />Faulk Road. The Planning Board had recommended approval of the plat, subject <br />to the completion of the road. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. moved <br />that the plat be approved, subject to the completion of the road work and necess- <br />ary certification. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />The County Manager presented the Budget Schedule which he recommended <br />for County Agencies to present their requests for the budget for the next fiscal <br />year. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr, advised the Board of the candidacy <br />of Mr. Wayne Hooper for the third vice president of the North Carolina Associa- <br />tion of County Commissioners. <br />In view of the fact that two of the Commissioners and the County Manager <br />would be in Washington on the first Monday of next month; -it was moved.that the'' <br />regular meetings for the month of March be held on March 10 and March 24. The <br />motion was duly seconded and upon a vote, unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. moved that the Board schedule a <br />public hearing on the problem of fire lighting of deer. Commissioner Jerry M. <br />Almond seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />There being no further business to come before the meeting, it was <br />adjourned sine die. <br />CHAIRMAN <br />CLERK <br />
