300K 11 ~:;a 918 <br />provisions for the establishment of the group home which was reviewed by the <br />Board. Following the discussion, Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved <br />that the Board endorse the program as outlined in the Inter-Agency Council on Youth <br />recommendations. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. seconded the motion and <br />upon a vote, Commissioners Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews and Dotterer voted for <br />the resolution and Commissioner Almond voted against it. <br />The County Manager presented Budget Amendment #2/17/86/13, which <br />budgeted funds received by the Department of Social Services for Crisis Inter- <br />vention. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved that the Budget Amendment <br />be approved and adopted. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. seconded the <br />motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />The County Manager presented a letter of agreement to be signed by all of <br />the participating agencies on the Transportation System. Commissioner Raymond <br />C. Cox, Jr. moved that the letter of agreement with respect to the operation of <br />transportation services be approved. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded <br />the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. <br />The Board next took up for consideration, the need of the schools for funds <br />in anticipation of the sale of school bonds. The Local Government Commission had <br />recommended that the County make advancements to the school in anticipation <br />of receiving reimbursement of those advancements from the bond proceeds. Since <br />the schools have estimated their needs to be approximately $260, 000. 00, the <br />County Manager recommended that authorization of such advancements be made <br />in the amount of $300, 000. 00, and it be designated as a capital reserve loan. <br />Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved that the County make a capital reserve <br />loan to the School Board in the amount of $300, 000. 00, with the provision that <br />such funds as may be advanced up to said limit are to be reimbursed to the County <br />from the bond proceeds. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion <br />and upon a roll call vote, Commissioners Almond, Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews <br />and Dotterer voted for it and no one voted against it. <br />The Board acknowledged the proclamation of Community College Week and <br />County Government Week, in accordance with the Governor's proclamation, upon <br />motion of Commissioner Jerry M. Almond, seconded by Commissioner Bertha L. <br />Matthews, which motion was unanimously adopted upon a vote. <br />The Board authorized the County Attorney and the County Planner to take <br />such steps as are necessary to see that the Subdivision Ordinance is properly <br />enforced. <br />The County Planner, Leonard O. Barefoot, presented to the Board, an <br />abbreviated final plat of Southern Real Estate Subdivision, which is located approxi- <br />mately 7/10ths of a mile south of Tramway Road, which is being developed by Mr. <br />
