l ~ 942 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ;r ADVERTISEMENT OF AN OFFER TO PURCHASE CERTAIN PROPERTY ® WHEREAS, the Governing Body of COUNTY OF LEE desires to dispose of certain surplus property of the county; NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED by the county that: 1. The following described Property is hereby declared t^ be surplus to the needs of the county: BEGINNING at an iron pipe on the western R/W of N. C. S. R =1509 (Grapevineyard Road), said beginning point be located S 340-51'-25" W 439.52' from the western R/W of N. C. S. R. 91573 (Oakwood Road); they from said beginning point with the western R/W 8f SR 01509 N 48 -12'-00" W - 86.31' to an iron Bipe. Thence N'43 -14'-38" W 95.57' to an iron Bipe. Thence S 39 -44'-24" W - 6.00' to an iron pipe6 Thence N 47 -21'-55" W - 65.95' to an existing bock. Thence N 44 -39'-28" W - 82.16' to an iron Sipe. Thence N 49u-09'-52" E 98.20' to an iron Bipe. The county has received an offer to purchase for the sum of $3,000. the property described above. ® 3. The county proposes to accept the offer unless an upset bid shall be made. 4. The person making the offer shall deposit with the COUNTY OF LEE Clerk a sum equal to five percent (5%) of his offer. 5. The County Manager shall cause a notice of such offer to be published in accordance with G.S. 16OA-269. 6. The County Manager is directed, should a qualifying upset bid be received within ten (10) days from the publication of said notice in accordance with G.S. 160A-269, to readvertise the offer at the increased upset bid amount.
