~l1 ~n c 948 Upon motion of Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., which motion was seconded by Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews, and unanimously adopted upon a vote, it was resolved to authorize the transfer of the office of the Soil and Water Conservation District from the Federal Building on Carthage Street to the County Agriculture Building on Steele Street, Commissioner Jerry M. Almond reviewed the activities of the Finance Committee at its meeting on Friday, April 18, 1986. In accordance with the recommendations of the Finance Committee, Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved the adoption of the resolution entitled "The Supplemental Retirement Income Plan of North Carolina Resolution", a copy of which is attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof, Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr, seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. The Release Report and the Refund Request as approved and submitted to the Board by the Tax Supervisor, were next considered. In accordance with the recommendations of the Finance Committee, Commissioner Jerry M. Almond moved that the Release Report and Refund Request, copies of which are attached to these minutes and by this reference made a part hereof, be approved and authorized. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr, seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted, Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr, reviewed the activities of the Public Works Committee which met on Thursday, April 10, 1986, Commissioner Dossenbach and County Manager Hartman reviewed the necessity for and the work done which prompted Change Orders Nos, 9 and 10 with respect to the County's Water System. In accordance with the Public Works Commission recommendations, Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr, moved that Change Order 9 and Change Order 10, copies of which are attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, be approved and that thez.appropriate County Officials be authorized to sign the Change Orders for and on behalf of the County. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. reviewed the activities of the Water Committee which met on Thursday, April 10, 1986. The Board next reviewed the Departmental Reports submitted to them with their agenda for the meeting, County Manager, Hartman, reported that the bids had been received to upgrade the County's computer and reported on the bids and how the system would be modified. It was decided to submit this material to the Finance Committee for its consideration prior to taking Board action.
