MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS FOR THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br />Monday, July 21st, 1986 <br />J The special meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of <br />Lee, State of North Carolina, convened at 3:00 o'clock p.m., on Monday, <br />July 21, 1986, in the Commissioners Room, on the second floor of the County <br />Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina, the same being the <br />time, date and place specified in the call of the meeting. Those present were <br />Commissioners Raymond C. Cox, Jr., John R. Dossenbach, Jr., John E. <br />Dotterer and Bertha L. Matthews. Commissioner Jerry M. Almond was not <br />present. Chairman John E. Dotterer declared a quorum present and the meeting <br />open for the transaction of business. <br />A <br />Mr. Don McLaughlin, Director of the Parks and Recreation Commission, <br />appeared before the Board and gave a report about the problems that users of <br />the pools and parks have experienced with insects and the steps that have been <br />taken by the Parks and Recreation Commission, to correct the situation. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., presented the following <br />resolution and moved that it be adopted: <br />
