Dotterer was declared re-elected as Chairman <br />of the Board. <br />The Chairman directed that a vote be held for the position of Vice <br />Chairman of the Board. The results of the balloting were as follows: <br />Commissioner <br />Cox <br />Dotterer <br />Matthews <br />Wicker <br />Nominee <br />Dossenbach <br />Lossenbach <br />Lossenbach <br />Abstain <br />Mr. vossenbach was declared elected Vice Chairman of the Board. <br />The Chairman then recognized Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews for the <br />report of the Human Resources Committee. Commissioner Matthews, on behalf <br />of the Human Resources Committee and its recommendation, moved that the Board <br />re-appoint Mr. Walter B. Hartman, Jr. , as County Manager. Commissioner <br />Raymond C. Cox, Jr, seconded the motion and upon a vote, all of those voting <br />voted "yes" , and there were no votes in opposition. The Chairman declared <br />Mr. Hartman had been unanimously re-appointed. Commissioner Matthews, <br />on behalf of the Human Resources Committee, moved that K. R. Hoyle be re- <br />tained as Clerk to the Board and County Attorney. Commissioner Raymond C. <br />Cox, Jr, seconded the motion and upon a vote all of the votes were in the <br />affirmative and there were no votes in opposition and the Chairman declared that <br />Mr. Hoyle had been unanimously re-appointed Clerk and County Attorney. <br />Commissioner Matthews, on behalf of the Human Resources Committee, moved <br />that Mrs. Margaret Murchison be appointed to fill the existing vacancy on the <br />Youth Commission. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr, seconded the motion <br />and upon a vote the motion was unanimously adopted. Commissioner Matthews, <br />on behalf of the Human Resources Committee, moved that Ralph Watson be <br />appointed to fill the vacancy on the EMS /Ambulance Advisory Council. Comm- <br />issioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. seconded the motion and upon a vote it was <br />unanimously adopted. <br />4 <br />
