The County Manager is authorized and directed to receive in the Board of Commissioners behalf, sealed bids for the purchase of the property described above. 3. Sealed bids may be submitted to the County Manager's Office to be opened on the 28th day of January 1987, at 10:00 o'clock a. m., at this location. 4. The County Manager shall cause a notice of this resolu- tion to be published in accordance with applicable statutes. 5. Bids will not be accepted unless, upon time of filing, they are accompanied by a deposit of cash, cashier's or certified check, or bid bond equal to 5% of the amount bid. 6. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted. Commissioner Dossenbach reported that Heins Telephone Company had requested an easement to allow replacement of the telephone cable to the Land- fill office and the Public Works Committee recommended the granting of such an easement. Commissioner Dossenbach moved that the recommendation be approved and accepted and adopted as the official action of the Board, together with the authorization for the County officials to execute and deliver such an easement. Commissioner Matthews seconded the motion and upon a vote it was unanimously adopted.
