0 Boos V - 150 0 <br />Lee County Schools Long Range Building Plan which includes <br />the status of the various projects underway now. Mr. Johnson <br />also requested that the Board adopt a funding schedule for <br />school facility needs, however, no action was taken. <br />Mr. Don McLaughlin, Recreation Director, appeared before <br />the Board to request authorization to file an application <br />with the Land and Water Conservation Fund for the development <br />of Buchanan Park II. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., moved <br />that this application be authorized, which motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews, and upon a vote <br />was unanimously adopted. <br />Chairman Dotterer reported that it was time to conduct <br />the public hearing as scheduled on the agenda. Commissioner <br />Bertha L. Matthews moved that the public hearing be opened, <br />seconded by Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., and upon a vote <br />was unanimously adopted. Mr. Elwin Buchanan, Grants <br />Administrator, explained the proposed amendment to the <br />Community Development Revitalization Project and noted that <br />another public hearing has been scheduled on this matter as <br />required by the grant. No other persons were present during <br />this public hearing. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., <br />moved that the public hearing be closed since no action was <br />required by the Board, which motion was seconded by <br />Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr., and upon a vote was <br />unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., Chairman of the <br />Public Works Committee, reported that the committee recom- <br />mends authorization for Mr. Buchanan to file a grant appli- <br />cation for State Clean Water Bond Funds to assist in running <br />the sewer outfall line across to the manhole in the Jackson <br />Heights Area. Commissioner Dossenbach moved that this <br />application be filed, seconded by Commissioner Bertha L. <br />Matthews and upon a vote was unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that the list of tax <br />releases and refunds from the Tax Supervisor's Office be <br />approved, seconded by Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., <br />which motion was unanimously adopted. Commissioner <br />Dossenbach did, however, request that the reasons for the <br />refunds and releases be coded as to why the refund or release <br />is being made. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr., moved that the <br />Board approve Budget Amendments #02/16/87/11 and #02/16/87/12 <br />which are as follows: <br />SECTION 1. The <br />hereby-approved: <br />DEPT.
