e.~oK 12 206 Mr, Don Gunderson, Director of Social Services appeared before the Board and reported cn what has transpired in the emergency assistance program and the plans of the General Assembly with respect to the programs for the coming year. Mrs. Norma Bullard, Tax Supervisor, and Mr. Ron McCarthy appeared before the Board to discuss and review the Manual of Standards and Rules to be used in appraising real property in Lee County, copies of which had been furnished to the Board for their review prior to the meeting. After discussion, Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , moved that the Board approve and authorize the use of the Manual of Standards and Rules to be used in appraising Real Property in Lee County as presented to the Board at this meeting by the personnel in the Tax Supervisor's office in valuing real property hereafter. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. , seconded the motion and upon a vote, the Commissioners voted as follows: AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Dotterer NAY: Wicker , Matthews The Chairman ruled the resolution was adopted by a majority vote. Mr. Leonard Barefoot, County Planner, appeared before the Board and presented for consideration by the Board, the Planning Board's recommendations. The first matter considered was the Final Plat of Farmview Acre Subdivision in Cape Fear Township. The Planning Board recommended approval. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that the plat be approved. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. seconded the motion and upon a vote, the Commissioners voted as follows: AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer NAY: None The Chairman ruled the resolution had been unanimously adopted. The next matter was the recommendation of the Planning Board that Mr. Donnie Simpson be permitted to post a Letter of Credit in the amount of $25, 000. 00 to guarantee paving costs for 3700 linear feet of streets in his mobile home park off the Boardway Highway known as Thornwood Park, provided that the operating permit be issued for only the first fifty lots and the period of delay to allow the water table to drop be set to sixty days. Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that the Planning Board's recommendation be accepted and approved. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , seconded the motion and upon a vote, the Commissioners voted as follows: AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker, and Dotterer NAY: None The Chairman ruled the resolution had been adopted by a unanimous vote.
