3!)GjK ; #r.r 203 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS FOR THE <br />CCUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />MONDAY, JUNE 15, 1987 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County <br />of Lee, State of North Carolina, convened in the Commissioners' Room on <br />the second floor of the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, <br />North Carolina, on Monday, June 15, 1987, at 7:00 o'clock P. M. Those <br />present were Commissioners Raymond C. Cox, Jr. ; John R. Dossenbach, <br />Jr. ; John E. Dotterer; Bertha L. Matthews; and Gordon A. Wicker. The <br />Chairman declared a quorum present and the meeting open for the transaction <br />of business. <br />Chairman John E. Dotterer presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />The invocation was given by the Reverend Tom Coye, Pastor of St. <br />Andrews Presbyterian Church, Lemon Springs, N. C. <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that minutes of the regular <br />meeting held on April 21, 1987, by deleting the paragraph which reads as <br />follows: <br />After review and discussion, Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews <br />moved that the low bid of R. W. Moore Company be accepted. Commissioner <br />Raymond C. Cox, Jr. , seconded the motion and upon a vote, the Motion <br />was unanimously adopted. <br />and inserting in lieu thereof the following: <br />After review and discussion, Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved <br />that the low bid of R. W. Moore Company be accepted and that the lease/ <br />finance agreement for the scraper with Southern National Bank at 6.49% <br />interest rate be approved. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. , seconded <br />the motion and upon a vote, the motion was unanimously adopted. <br />
