This resolution shall be effective upon adoption. <br />Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr, moved the adoption of the <br />foregoing Resolution. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion <br />and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Commissioners Raymond C. Cox, Jr„ John R. Dossenbach, Jr., <br />John E. Dotterer, and Bertha L. Matthews. <br />NAY: Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker. <br />The Chairman ruled that the motion had been adopted by a majority <br />vote. <br />Mrs. Norma Bullard, Tax Supervisor, reviewed the Release Report <br />for the month of July. A copy of the Report is attached to these minutes and by <br />this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews moved <br />that the Release Report as presented by the Tax Supervisor's office for the month <br />of July be approved, Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker seconded the motion and <br />the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Commissioners Raymond C. Cox, Jr., John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , <br />John E. Dotterer, Bertha L. Matthews and Gordon A. Wicker. <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled that the Motion had been unanimously adopted. <br />The Board discussed but took no action with respect to the policy of <br />County Agencies sponsoring fund raising activities. <br />The County Manager reported that Mr, Garrett Kelly and Mr, Vernon <br />Lawrence had made a gift to the County for the County Emergency Medical Services <br />of two Ferno Universal Head Immobilizers valued at $120. 00. Commissioner <br />Raymond C. Cox, Jr, moved that the Board accept the gift and express its <br />appreciation for the donation. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the <br />motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Commissioners Raymond C. Cox, Jr., John R. Dossenbach, Jr., <br />John E. Dotterer, Bertha L. Matthews and Gordon A. Wicker. <br />NAY: None <br />
