Matthews <br />moved that the Resolution be adopted. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr, seconded <br />the motion and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Commissioners Raymond C. Cox, Jr. , John R. Dossenbach, Jr. , <br />John E. Dotterer, Bertha L. Matthews and Gordon A. Wicker. <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled that the Resolution had been adopted unanimously. <br />Mr. Elwin Buchanan, Grants Administrator, presented for the Board's <br />consideration parcel reports and resolutions for the Board to establish just <br />compensation for various parcels of land in the San-Lee Heights Area III. <br />Specifically the Resolutions relate to Parcels 29, 19, 15, 20, 16, 4, 5, 6, 7, 3, <br />17 and 33 as they appear in the project plan. Copies of the Resolutions establishing <br />just compensation for each of these parcels are attached to these minutes and by <br />this reference made a part hereof. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. moved <br />that each of the Resolutions be adopted. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded <br />the motion in each case and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Commissioners Raymond C. Cox, Jr., John R. Dossenbach, Jr., <br />John E. Dotterer, Bertha L. Matthews and Gordon A. Wicker. <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled that each of the Resolutions had been adopted. <br />The County Manager presented a Resolution which had been requested <br />in connection with the contract between the County and Floyd Browne Associates <br />for the construction of a water plant. The Resolution was as follows: <br />11BE IT RESOLVED: <br />1. That the County Officers are authorized and directed to enter <br />into an agreement or agreements with FLOYD BROWNE ASSOCIATES <br />and/or SOUTHERN NATIONAL BANK when jointly or severally <br />which will provide as follows: <br />a. That in the event FLOYD BROWNE ASSOCIATES should <br />default in its agreement with LEE COUNTY dated June 1, 1987, or <br />should abandon or cease to operate said water plant then the county <br />shall have the right to enter and operate said plant to ensure continuous <br />operation and this shall be in addition to any other remedies set out <br />in said agreement or provided by law or equity for such breach. <br />b. That in the event SOUTHERN NATIONAL BANK should <br />initiate foreclosure proceedings and/or should acquire FLOYD <br />
