Matthews seconded the motion, and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />NAY: None. <br />The C hairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted, <br />Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews, on behalf of the General Government <br />Human Resources and Finance Committees moved that the Board establish a policy <br />not to charge volunteer fire departments for water used at their stations and also <br />to refund any tap fees and meter deposits paid to the county by these volunteer fire <br />departments. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. , seconded the motion. During <br />discussion, Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that a substitute motion be <br />considered to establish a policy not to charge voluntary fire departments for water <br />used at their stations. Commissioner John R. Dossenbach, Jr. seconded the <br />motion and during discussion all the Commissioners agreed that the substitute <br />embrace the original request received on this subject. The Chairman called for a <br />voteupon the substitute motion and the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer. <br />NAY: None <br />
