Q <br />1.1 <br />NO <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />MONDAY, OCTOBER 5, 1987 <br />The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for the County of <br />Lee convened in the Commissioners' Room on the second floor of the County <br />Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina, on Monday, <br />October 5, 1987, at 9:30 o'clock A. M. Those present were Commissioners <br />John R. Dossenbach, Jr., John E. Dotterer, Bertha L. Matthews and Gordon <br />A. Wicker. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. was absent when the meeting <br />opened and joined the meeting shortly thereafter. The Chairman declared a quorum <br />present and the meeting open for the transaction of business. <br />® Commissioner John E. Dotterer presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />Chairman John E. Dotterer gave the invocation. <br />The draft of the minutes of the regular meeting held on Monday, <br />September 21, 1987, were reviewed and considered. Commissioner Gordon A. <br />Wicker moved the draft be approved and adopted as the official minutes and be <br />recorded. Commissioner Bertha L. Matthews seconded the motion, and upon <br />a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer. <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted. <br />Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, Jr. joined the meeting at this point <br />and participated in the further deliberations of the Board. <br />Mrs. Norma Bullard, County Tax Supervisor; Ron McCarthy of Elliott- <br />® Ross & Associates, and William L. Connolly of the North Carolina Department of <br />Revenue appeared before the Board with respect to the proposed land use valuation <br />
