o F o~ 12 323 <br />MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />OF <br />THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />FOR <br />THE COUNTY OF LEE, STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br />TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6, 1987 <br />The adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for <br />the County of Lee convened in the Commissioners' Room on the second floor <br />of the County Office Building, 200 Wicker Street, Sanford, North Carolina, on <br />Tuesday, October 6, 1987, at 4:00 o'clock P. M. , same being the time and <br />place specified in the motion of adjournment. <br />Those present were: Commissioners Raymond C. Cox, Jr., John <br />R. Dossenbach, Jr. , Bertha L. Matthews, John E. Dotterer and Gordon A. <br />Wicker. <br />S All of the Commissioners were present and the Chairman declared <br />the meeting open for the transaction of business. <br />Chairman John E. Dotterer presided and the following business was <br />transacted: <br />Commissioner Gordon A. Wicker moved that the Board go into <br />executive session to discuss personnel matters. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox, <br />Jr. seconded the motion, and upon a vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Dossenbach, Matthews, Cox, Wicker and Dotterer. <br />NAY: None <br />The Chairman ruled the motion had been unanimously adopted, and <br />all persons other than the Board were asked to remove themselves from the <br />meeting room. <br />Thereafter, the Board invited Mr. James Mills, County Manager, and <br />Mr. K. R. Hoyle, Clerk, to join the executive session. <br />Following the executive session discussion, Commissioner Gordon A. <br />• Wicker moved that the executive session be closed and the Board resume its <br />regular meeting. Commissioner Raymond C. Cox seconded the motion and upon a <br />vote the results were as follows: <br />AYE: Cox, Dossenbach, Matthews, Wicker and Dotterer <br />
